I recently bought a Hero 1 and now I need a tape recorder to use for
storing programs. Can anyone recomend a good tape recorder? I have looked
in places like Radio Shack and electronics places but I haven't found one
that looks like it would the job. All of the machines I've found are
either player only or part of a stereo system.

I just use a cheap portable cassette recorder I picked up at a flea
market. The method used for transfer by Hero is pretty reliable.

I haven't shopped for one lately but everyone used to make them, GE-
Panasonic, etc. All you need then is a couple RCS cables to connect
everything.
