Does it work?

After examining the Robot, making sure batteries are connected correctly and fuses do not appear to be blown, turn on your Hero by flipping the big toggle switch located at the rear bottom of the robot. He should come up immediately and say "READY" (if you have the speech option). If the batteries are very low, the speech my be garbled. The LED display should show your currently installed main ROM version.: [1.0, 1.U, or 1.3]
After about 15 seconds a dash will appear and move back and forth.  Now you have your Hero 1 Robot operational and you need to test to see if everything is working properly.

Here are a few tests that you can enter on the keypad:

DISPLAY TEST

As you input the program, watch the display, and verify the response, if parts of a letter are missing it may indicate that a segment is bad on one of the LED displays.

The result will be led's lighting up on the sense board. This is displayed as a binary count and not a linear gauge.

SONAR
AA 0205 45 83 96 11 BD F6 4E BD F7 AD CE 20 00 09 26 FD 20 F0 RESET AD 0205
